Become the voice of the young people in Brackley and Towcester
SNYE’s Youth Council is made up of young people recruited through our youth provision, aged 11-19 . The young people discuss topics and issues that affect them and take action upon them.
They meet monthly and also organise fundraising events, projects to tackle community issues and they invite partners to their meetings. By inviting partners such as the Rotary Club of Towcester, Brackley Town Council and Towcester Town Council it encourages direct, youth-friendly conversations to influence change within their communities.

I have had the pleasure of chairing our meetings since the start of 2026, where I set our agendas and lead our monthly discussions. I take great pride in out council and feel it is crucial for young people to have a say in the matters that affect us. “My name is Leon, and I’m the chair of Brackley Youth Council of SNYE. I joined the Youth Council in March 2024 (2 years ago now, how time flies!) and I have been chairing since January 2026. I joined the Youth Council as I believe that the youth of our community deserve a voice in what happens in our area. We live here too after all, don’t we? As Chair, I pledge to represent our team of bright, talented minds that make up our very pleasant and dedicated Brackley Youth Council.”
