SNYE’s Youth Council and the Rotary Club of Towcester have been in partnership since June of 2025. Since then, the Rotary Club have generously supported us financially and logistically, as well as providing unique opportunities for our Youth Councillors.
Most recently, 3 of our Youth Councillors in Towcester were given the opportunity to gain waiting experience at a Rotary event, whereby money was raised by Rotarians for the Youth Councillors’ time volunteering.
The Youth Council also received a very generous donation from Towcester Rotary Club. It was discussed and agreed over a few Youth Council meetings that the money would be used to buy two slushie machines, for the enjoyment of all young people and families we see! In a few weeks time, the machines will be up and running for use across our youth clubs, at events such as our Play & Activity Days and at Youth Council fundraisers (that are currently in the planning, watch this space).
