South Northants Youth Engagement (SNYE) is proud to announce that we are now fully trained on the Northamptonshire C-Card Scheme, allowing us to provide additional confidential sexual health support for young people aged 16–25 across our communities.
This development strengthens our commitment to supporting young people with accessible information, practical support, and trusted guidance in a safe and non-judgemental environment.
What Is the C-Card Scheme?
The Northamptonshire C-Card Scheme is designed to help young people access free sexual health resources and advice quickly, confidentially, and safely.
The C-Card service offers free condoms, Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea testing, as well as pregnancy tests, for young people aged 16 to 25. Many youth organisations, pharmacies, and GP practices across Northamptonshire are also a part of the C-Card scheme, helping ensure support is accessible within local communities.
Through the scheme, SNYE can now support young people by:
- Providing free condoms for young people aged 16–25.
- Completing confidential pregnancy tests.
- Supporting access to Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea testing.
- Signposting to local sexual health clinics and GP practices.
Our aim is to ensure young people have access to accurate information, early support, and the services they may need to make informed choices about their health and wellbeing
Supporting young people without judgment
At SNYE, we understand that conversations around sexual health can sometimes feel difficult or uncomfortable for young people. That is why we are committed to offering support in a welcoming, respectful, and confidential setting.
Our trained staff are here to listen, provide guidance, and help young people access the right support services when needed.
This work is part of our wider mission to empower young people, reduce risk and exploitation, and help build safer and healthier communities across Northamptonshire.
