We believe young people don’t just have a role to play in shaping their communities — they should be leading that change. On Power of Youth Day, 2nd June 2026, we signed the Power of Youth Charter: a commitment to embed youth voice in the heart of everything we do.

What an incredible week it has been! To celebrate National Volunteers’ Week 2026, the SNYE team hit the road to connect with our local communities, meet inspiring individuals, and share the vital work we do.

South Northants Youth Engagement (SNYE) is proud to announce that we are now fully trained on the Northamptonshire C-Card Scheme, allowing us to provide additional confidential sexual health support for young people aged 16–25 across our communities.

Thanks to your amazing support, we raised an incredible £390.20 at our Table Top Sale on 10 May. Every penny will go into our unrestricted funds to support youth activities across South Northamptonshire. We welcomed 61 paying adults to the event, while children attended for free.

SNYE’s Youth Council and the Rotary Club of Towcester have been in partnership since June of 2025. Since then, the Rotary Club have generously supported us financially and logistically, as well as providing unique opportunities for our Youth Councillors.

More than 30 charities, community organisations, volunteer-led groups and individuals from across Northamptonshire were recognised at the Northamptonshire Community Foundation (NCF) awards night.

SNYE were awarded this year’s President’s Cup from NAYC (Northamptonshire Association of Youth Clubs).
